“It’s Gowtime” by Apple took place in Apple Park, with a lot of ads that could tempt many fans to update the devices in all areas.
Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook, and his team revealed the new iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Pro, the Apple Watch Series 10 and a new and renewed airpod line, all thrown on September 20. IOS 18, Ipados 18, Watchos 11 and Macos Sequoia will also be available on September 16.
We have covered all the devices that were launched individually, and we also round everything that was announced in case the event has been lost. But was it the new Apple Clabber? Here are my thoughts about each of the new Apple devices presented at the iPhone 16 launch event.
iPhone 16, Apple Watch Series 10 and Airpods 4 Impressions
The Apple Watch Series 10 is a new impressive device, but it is a bit bitter. My expectations were high, with years of rumors of Apple Watch X. While I am a fan of the device we obtained, I long for what could have been.
The last Apple smart watch has been packing the new S10 chipset and an OLED screen of large major angle for a brighter -off visualization. We always have a new set of chips, so that is nothing special, but I like the best visualization angles. Apple also says that the 10 series screen is larger than Apple Watch Ultra 2. I am a great admirer of that, since I currently have the Apple Watch Ultra on my wrist. Like the previous devices, it is available in two sizes: 42 mm and 46 mm.
Now you can play the media out of the speaker, and there is a new sleep apnea detection. A new titanium model replaces stainless steel, offered on natural, gold or dark slate. Unfortunately, there is no brushed titanium option for series 10, so I still prefer the design of Apple Watch Ultra Better.
Speaking of the Apple Watch Ultra, we do not generate a new third generation model. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is staying, but now comes in a satin black finish. While I have been excited about this new color since we listened to rumors about it, I have recently become more affection for Titanium. I will keep the original color option, but I’m still glad to see that the black edition debuts.
There is also a new range of Milanese bands to complement this new tone. Instantly I fell in love with these, and I will get one immediately. Always having been a fan of titanium bands and Milanese straps, this option is perfect for me.
The iPhone 16 line presents several updates on the iPhone 15, such as the action button and a new “camera control” button that allows users to take photos and videos instantly. You can determine between a light and a hard pressure, since it is a haptic button. For example, a light press will show you a preview; Or you can press harder for additional controls.
I am a little torn by this button. On the one hand, it will facilitate the control of the camera, and it has lost the quick launch of the camera after assigning my action button for the search for arc. But on the other, it is another button to get used, and does nothing that the application of the camera no longer offers. I think I will have to wait until my new iPhone arrives to decide in this case.
The new camera updates add a 48mp Pargo here, with the promise of a better opening and more swampy photos. The ability to record space video or take space photos is impressive for a device that is not pro, but I have no use for this without an Apple Vision Pro headset. In addition, the new chamber bump design gives me the main wall vibrations.

The iPhone 16 also comes with 8 GB of memory and an A18 chip, which allows Apple’s intelligence when available at the end of this year in iOS 18.1. The decision to continue offering base storage of 128 GB is irritating, but to be expected as a way of differentiating from pro models.
This year’s colors selection certainly makes a statement. The new iPhone 16 is certainly much bolder than the pastel colors out of the iPhone 15, something that many fans criticized. The new ultramarine color is my personal favorite, and the option I would choose
But the iPhone 16 Pro Max (and the smallest brother) is where my particular approach is, being the device that I am going to buy this year, updating from the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The screen sizes have seen an increase of 6.1 and 6.7 inches to 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively. The wider bezels mean that the devices are not really larger than before. Since I have always opted for the Pro Max for the additional real estate sector, this movement is something that I like very much: I am getting more iPhone screen without the device starting to be too large.
There is also a new desert titanium color, which replaces last year’s blue titanium. Initially I ordered my iPhone 15 Pro Max in Blue Titanium, but I quickly changed the natural titanium to match my Apple Watch Ultra, a decision that I am glad to have taken. But the new desert titanium is tempting me, which is a hot shot. Most criticize the color, but I really like it. I said what I said.
The fact that both main cameras now have 48mp is better, since I take thousands of photos on my iPhone every month. I am excited to see the fastest opening speed for the most swampy shots and how many brighter photos they are. While I have been using the 5X Tetragrism Chamber for a year, I’m glad that it is now available on the smallest iPhone 16, it should have been from the beginning. In addition, 4k only at 120 fps is technically very impressive, but I don’t think I have ever recorded in slow motion. Ever.
I will not repeat my thoughts about the camera control button or in any other characteristic that are identical to the usual devices of the iPhone 16. Although I will say that I am glad that prices have remained where it is.
As for the new airpods, my feelings are a bit mixed. The new airpods 4 offer a more comfortable design, the new case finds my characteristics and wireless load. And (plot turn) there are two variants: one with ANC and one without.
I am very happy to see the new AirPods 4 of $ 129, and I think this model makes sense (in theory). $ 179 is still a bit high for the cheapest airpods in a world where decent wireless headphones can be had for about $ 50. Although $ 129 is still more expensive, it makes Airpods much more accessible to those who do not care the latest and best characteristics.
But (and this is a great but), the alignment of Airpods is now too confusing. Airpods 4 has the same name, but one has anc and costs $ 179, while the other has no noise cancellation and costs $ 129. Airpods Pro 2 can now be had in three configurations: Lightning Case, Magsafe and USB-C Case, and Case USB-C with the new hearing functions. And then there is Airpods Max at the upper end. Try to explain all that to your grandmother or in less than 20 words.
Apple is using the same name for too many devices at once. The AirPods 4 of $ 129 must be Airpods, while the $ 179 AirPods 4 must maintain their fourth generation name. As for professionals, Apple should slapped a 3 there, since a third minor update is dragging a little. As for Airpods Max, keeping its name, I will allow it since the only changes are USB-C and colors, but next time you must add a number there.
Rant. I like the fact that finding my now is on Airpods 4, an essential feature that has reached my rescue a few times. I like the new Airpods Max colors, and I am sure that many fans will also. Although I am disappointed, there are no audio improvements in the expensive and premium ears cans of Apple. The new auditory characteristics of Airpods Pro 2 (V3) are really useful, and I am excited to try them. But. Call. Them. Airpods Pro. 3. For. Loving. Of. God. Please.
My thoughts about the newest Apple devices
The Apple Watch Series 10 line and the iPhone 16 bring solid updates such as a larger OLED screen and the anticipated S10 chip for the clock and the improved camera systems for iPhones. But in all areas, Apple’s newest devices are something bittersweet.
The Apple Watch series was not up to the rumor of Apple Watch X, leaving a feeling of “what could have been”, and the confusing Airpods are aligned with identical names, but different characteristics add unnecessary complexity. Even so, some new features such as Find My for Airpods and the detection of sleep apnea for the clock is highlighted.
In general, I am a happy camper. The new releases bring a mixture of light emotion and frustration, but in general they offer new convincing features that are cozy to see.
