And if one of the more than 400 applications of preconstructed business line coincides with the functionality requested by the developer, Joule will recommend it.
He also pointed out that before the AI exit to the user, he executes it through internal controls to verify his precision and reduce the possibilities of hallucinations.
Joule for developers differs from other AI coding assistants, said Arnal Dayaratna, vice president of research, software development in IDC, since “its deep specialization in ABAP that is attributable to the improved access of SAP to the specific training data of ABAP.” Its integration with ABAP and SAP Build, he said, gives him “a unique capacity” to admit both the C code and not the code developers.
