I have spent weeks testing almost all popular cases of Pixel 9 in the market, but only a few get my sincere approval. There is a lot of garbage out there, even large brands, often a higher price does not mean a better case.
The unlimited mous is my favorite case of pixels 9/9

A pixel 9! In a Mous case!
Apart from the annoying ads, Mous really took it out of the park with the unlimited case for the Pixel 9 series. No matter how many cases I tried, I always ended up returning to the unlimited.
For me, it is the right thickness, and the premium materials on the back add enough as a tactile element to feel better in your hand than any other case. It is true that grip strips on the sides do not add a ton of grip, but I consider that some of the extremely spooky cases are too abrasive for daily use, not to mention that it is difficult to clean. However, I will say that you can feel bulky if you are accustomed to thin boxes.
The unlimited mous for Pixel 9 also has a lot of other details, such as laces holes on each side and a slightly lower lip on the sides of the screen for sliding gestures (although it could be flatter, in my opinion). However, a larger point of sale is the magnetic matrix on the back.
This unlocks a wide variety of accessories, from wallets to wireless loaders and more. I hit a wallet accessory/magnetic casetify escort on the back and, unless you do well, that bad boy is not detaching. It is a shame that covers the elegant backup material.
Just keep in mind that if you plan to use wireless loaders, you must obtain the appropriate case for your phone, because wireless load coils are in slightly different places in Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro.
Why did Google do this? His assumption is as good as mine, but the result is that he must be more attentive when buying magnetic boxes for the Pixel 9 series, and that includes the Mou Limitless.

Unlimited mous for Google Pixel 9/9 Pro
Premium finish • Excellent drop protection • Comfortable to hold
Everything that can be desired from a case of Google Pixel 9.
With a premium finish and a lot of fall protection, the unlimited is one of the best cases you can get for the Pixel 9 series.
More pixels 9 cases in which I would spend money
While the unlimited finally won the day, there were many other cases that I liked for Pixel 9.
Pasteing with more Premium options, the DBRAND grip box ($ 59.9 in Dbrand) Mark many of the same boxes. It is an extremely premium case with magnets and a lot of skins to choose from, in addition to some pleasant details such as elevated edges around the camera bar, which means there is no need for a lump.
However, I found that microdot texture was a bit too much for my delicate nerd hands. It is very adherent, but also very abrasive.
If you like extra grip but you want something more affordable, I was very surprised at the Athlex caseology ($ 15.99 on Amazon). It is a case of budget, so it does not look so striking, but the grip is excellent, and the buttons are better than any other case I tried, including those that cost three more times. They have a good pill design without hard edges in cases of literally any other brand.
Nano Pop caseology ($ 18.99 on Amazon) It has the same buttons with a slightly more standard design, but I still think it is worth taking a look. The two -tone design is not as interesting as other cases in the market, but if you are looking for something more moderate, it is still a good case with a less abrasive grip texture on the sides.
It is worth noting here that the Caseology brand closed at the end of 2024, but these cases are still available for now. Just keep in mind that the remaining actions will probably not last forever.
Spigen has been one of our favorite cases brands for years, and my best choice for the Pixel 9 series is liquid air ($ 16.99 on Amazon). It is thin and light with a subtle pattern on the back, but this edition comes in a lighter new color that looks really elegant.
It may sound silly getting excited about gray, but generally the case is only offered in matt black or other darker tones, so any new color option is very welcome. Gray is also better in person than in the photos, he trusts me.
The official case of Google Pixel 9/9 Pro ($ 34.99 on Amazon) It is also a strong contender when it comes to thin cases. I love the color combinations in which it enters, but the way the case feels in your hand is perfect. There is a super soft ramp around the camera bar that eliminates the rough edges, and the soft silicone finish is one of the best I have tried. I wish I had magnets in the back to be a better value, but it is still a great case if you want to go to the first part.
If you want magnets in a thin box, the super thin mous ($ 54.99 on Amazon) It has them, but there is practically no fall protection. Leaving your phone with this case is essentially the same as dropping your nude pixel 9. I cannot handle so much stress when it comes to something that costs almost a month of rent, but maybe I can.
As for resistant cases, the Otterbox defender ($ 16.99 on Amazon) It is, with much, the most protective case I tried. If you have ever used one, you know exactly what you are getting on, but personally I do not need that level of protection, so the fact that it is super bulky and difficult to install or eliminate means that it was not for me. Obviously, not everyone looks at the screen of a computer at home all day, so if your Pixel 9 is more likely to receive some successes, it is a completely different story.
There are some other resistant cases that I would recommend if you do not need so much protection, but you want to keep your pristine phone as long as possible. The first is Spigen’s hard armor ($ 18.99 on Amazon), which is much more affordable and has a built -in kick stop. It is still quite bulky, but the soft finish felt much more comfortable to maintain than the Otterbox defender.
The other is the Casetify impact ($ 59.99 in Casetify), which is one of the few customizable cases that you can obtain for the Pixel 9 series. On the Casetify website, you can choose a wide variety of patterns or create your own design. The version I tried was clear without a patron (Womp, Womp), but the construction itself still impressed me.
At first it was skeptical that a case this thin can have as much protection as Casetify announces, but after trying it, I think it is up to expectations. Well, at least when it comes to fall protection. Despite the magnets and the general quality of construction, it is still a bit expensive for what you get.
Why you should trust me

I have been testing and reviewing the telephone covers in Android authority For more than four years, covering each important launch from the Google Pixel 5. During that time I have literally tried hundreds of cases of each brand in the market, and I have boxes of telephone covers to test it.
When trying a case, I will install it in my daily controller and use it for at least one full day. That gives me enough time to see how the case feels in daily use, which is much more important than how it looks or any promise made by the brand in the products pages.
In general, what I am looking for mainly comfort, fall protection, usability and aesthetics, although not necessarily in that order. Everyone has different priorities when it comes to buying a case, so always try to consider who each case is for a good choice and why.
That could mean that it is ultrafine and light, resistant and protective, or full of extras such as a kick or magnet stop. The phone does not matter, I try to recommend something for everyone, even if it does not fit my personal use.
