The Belgian Startup of AI says that it can automate 80% of the work in ‘Expert Companies’

Ravical, based in Belgium, has assured 7.3 million euros in funds prior to the seeds to take AI agents to professional services in taxes, legal, accounting and insurance.

Joris van der Gucht, CEO and co -founder of Ravical, said that “virtual employees” could do 80% of the work in these companies.

“Ravical agents assume repetitive tasks and that require a lot of time that experts decrease,” he told TNW, citing examples such as recovering internal systems data, verifying the latest regulations or reading long policies.

Despite doing up to 80% of the work in these companies, Van Der Gucht minimized concerns about agents supplanting humans.

“We don’t expect job losses,” he said. “It’s not about replacing experts, it’s about creating space to be more shocking and reinvent how they get involved with their customers.”

Ravical AI agents are designed to suggest, not act independently. The company said that each production generated by AI is traceable and audible, which are critical requirements in the world of professional services.

Ravical is not Van der Gucht’s first company to automate workflows. Silverfin co -founded previously, which provides cloud -based accounting automation software. In 2023, the company sold for € 320mn.

In February, Ravical founded together with the experts in the Ken Bastiaen and Benjamin Vandermarliere. Armed with new funds, the startup plans to refine its algorithms and expand its team.

Enrico Mellis, a partner of Lakestar, the main investor in the round, said he was excited to support the company to bring its “proven” experience in automation to automation to booming Agent AI market.

“Agent AI is moving from the word of fashion to priority at the board level,” said Mellis.

Ravical said he has already undertaken 10 pilot projects with professional services companies of various sizes and in multiple industries. The company is looking at international expansion, but did not explain where.
