Apple launched the first beta version of iOS 26.1 today, only one week after the launch of iOS 26. IOS 26.1 adds new languages to Apple’s intelligence, but there are some other features on which it is worth knowing.
New Apple Intelligence Languages
The intelligence of the media is now available in Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese (Portugal), Swedish, Turkish, Chinese (traditional) and Vietnamese.
Airpods Live Translation Language
Airpods live translation works with additional languages in iOS 26.1, including Japanese, Korean, Italian and Chinese (both traditional and simplified).
Phone
The phone keyboard now uses liquid glass for numbers.
Apple music
You can slide the music player in Apple Music to change songs. Simply slide a finger on where the song title is listed, and go to the next song or return to the previous song.
Photos
The sliding control has been updated through videos in the photos application.
The navigation bar also looks a little more frosted that makes it easier to see in light funds.
Calendar
In the Calendar application, some of the views now show events of different calendars with full color.

Background Security Improvement
Apple seems to have changed the name of rapid safety updates to the improvement of background safety, mentioned in iOS 26.1 code.
“The improvement of background security improves the safety of your iPhone by installing safety improvements and system files before they are available in iOS software updates. In rare cases of compatibility problems, these deliveries can be temporarily eliminated and then improve in a functions software update.”
