This Linda Clucking Girl It is easy to do and makes a great noise of chicken type.
The noisy cup of chick can become an investigation experimenting with paper and plastic glasses to discover how the noise changes.
You will need
- A plastic cup or paper
- Tape
- Paper clip
- Googly eyes
- Water
- Thick towel or paper towel
- Pencil
Instructions
Carefully use a pencil to make a small hole at the bottom of the cup.
Pass the tape through the hole and star a small knot at the end. The tape must be approximately 30 cm longer than the end of the glass.
Connect the paper clip to the tape to rest at the bottom of the cup (top of the chick).
Decorate the cup to look like a girl.
Wet a small paper towel.
Fold the paper towel around the tape and pull down!
I should make a noise like a cutting girl.
Why does a noise?
The Cup acts as a resonance box. Try to rub the paper towel by the tape without the attached cup. There is no noise. The cup amplifies the vibrations created by the paper towel movement by the tape, making a girl noise!
