Abstract
A new species de Gesneriaceae, Petrocodon curvitubus JXWEI, B.pan and T. Ding, sp. nov. From Guangxi, China, it is described and illustrated. The new species is morphologically similar to P. Lui and P. TenuitubusBut it can be easily distinguished by its elliptical leaves from oblong ovate, corollas with two purple longitudinal stripes and conical ovary.

Petrocodon curvitubus JXWEI, B.pan and T. Ding, sp. nov.
Diagnosis: P. Curvitubus is florally similar to P. Lui and P. Tenuitubus. However, it can be distinguished from them by sheet characteristics, with elliptical leaves to oblong, ovate, obtuse or accumulated slightly accumulated, dnerated base (vs. P. Lui, ovate or widely ovated; Subagudo or obtuse Apex, a base corded by shallow, oblique; Vs. P. TenuitubusOVED TO ORBICULAR; obtuse apex, symmetric or asymmetric base), corollas with purple stripes (vs. absent in P. Lui and P. Tenuitubus), obovados-eliptical corolla lobes to oblong, accumulated apex (vs. P. Luioblong lobes, obovated to suborbicular, obtuse apex; Vs. P. tenuitubus, closely ovate lobes, obtuse apex) and conical ovary, ca. 2.5 × ca. 0.8 mm (vs. P. Lui, Linear, ca. 3 × 1.5 mm; Vs. P. Tenuitubusovoid, 1–2 × 1–1.5 mm) (Table 1).
Etymology: The epithet originates in the heavily curved corolla tube.
Vernacular name: Wān guǎn shí shān jù tái (弯管石山苣苔), the first two words, “wān guǎn”, it means that the corolla tube is strongly curved, and the following four words, “Shí shān jù tái”, means Petrocodon In Chinese.
