Altitious productivity: Why Apple Vision Pro Transforma air trips in my last work space

In general, I am one of the first to adopt technology, especially new devices in a new or existing category. I love devices and technology, and I am not afraid of change. I asked for a Apple Vision Pro The first day. Here is my initial reference review. When I did my initial review, I had not yet led Apple Vision Pro along the way.

Recently, I had a business trip to Los Angeles and back. This is a five -hour flight from Atlanta. Usually, I use the time on flights to write a little writing, in addition to a movie or two. Working on a plane can definitely present a couple of challenges. The first is when the person in front of you supports your seat back, which makes it difficult to open your laptop at a comfortable viewing angle. The second challenge is to keep the indiscreet eyes of his teammates of his work. Some privacy screens make it more difficult to see their screen from an angle, but I have not used one in years.

Apple Vision Pro elevates productivity on the flight to new heights

Apple Vision Pro with Mac Virtual Screen

I knew that seeing movies at Apple Vision Pro on a plane would be incredible, but I had not considered how good it would be to do a real job.

Travel mode

Vision Pro has a “travel mode”, which is essential when it is on a plane. The travel mode is different from the plane mode (which it also has). The travel mode disables the gyroscope that would think it moves when it is in a moving vehicle. I even knew that I was probably on a plane or vehicle and suggested me to turn it on. Once I enabled the travel mode, everything was established and it was very stable as it is when you are only sitting.

Space computer science is here! While it is great that you can use native applications in vision to do the work, especially because there is a native Word version, my Macbook Pro has everything I need to work. Not to mention that it has a incorporated keyboard. While I can use a Bluetooth keyboard with Apple Vision Pro, bringing one on this trip made no sense since I needed my Macbook Pro for my work once I arrived at Los Angeles.

Apple Vision Pro has a built -in virtual screen function

With the Mac virtual screen, you can reflect the main screen of your MAC on a beautiful 4K resolution panoramic screen in Apple Vision Pro, and the best part is that the Mac screen becomes black while doing it to keep your eyes indiscreet of your work/content.

I am still using the Macbook Pro track and track track, but I am looking at a large and beautiful screen instead of the tray table. This screen is not only larger, but I can place it anywhere in the virtual space, make it as large as you want and have other open vision applications and positioned around it as necessary.

While on the Mac virtual screen, the MAC’s main screen darkens and is using its keyboard and trackpad. No one can see what you are working on.

If you have a Mac with apple siliconIt can appear in Apple Vision Pro in resolutions of up to 4K. If your MAC has an Intel processor, it can appear in resolutions of up to 3K.

I was in my own world

The same windows open as above, but now with an environment on/ignited so as not to see the real world unless a person/flight assistant approaches me.

I did more work on these two flights than ever before. I could concentrate even more if the virtual environment wanted to block the distractions of people walking through the halls, as well as the child by my side that was, UMM, very active during the entire flight.

It was not about work. I wanted to watch a 3D movie while working two. I posted the movie window under the virtual screen of my Mac to be able to look directly at what I was working on and look down in the movie when I wanted.

How was the battery life?

Knowing that the Apple Vision Pro battery is classified to the last 2-2.5 hours, I knew that I would run out of flight no matter what. Therefore, I connected it to My new Anker PowerBank What the Apple Vision Pro and my iPhone 15 pro kept overlooked the entire flight. I could also have connected my MacBook Pro on the Energy Bank if necessary. The Anker PowerBank was 40% when I stood out.

Without wifi, no problem

The morning of my flight out of Atlanta, I received an email from Delta informing me that there would be no Wifi on this flight due to a team problem. This was also the morning of the great interruption of AT&T. When I approached the plane, I did not have wifi or cell service. Fortunately, AT&T data returned before taking off and I could send/receive some emails before going to the plane mode.

Apple Vision Pro has wifi, but the wifi on this first flight did not work. Knowing that this could always be a problem, I downloaded some of my favorite movies for Vision Pro before leaving the house. I had no trouble touching these movies during the flight. I would normally make my blog posts directly on the WordPress site, but since I didn’t have wifi, I just written them in my macbook to load later.

On my return flight, I had wifi and I could work directly on my various online sites without incident.

How was it using Apple Vision Pro for five hours at the same time?

I must say that on the first flight, I forgot that I had it. He had no eye fatigue and was almost dizzy how incredible had these giant exhibitions in front of me. I used my Airpods Pro for Audio Spatial, which worked very well with Vision Pro.

The final result

While I enjoy consuming and creating content in Apple Vision Pro from my favorite chair at home, I think that my new favorite use is the air trip. I didn’t even bother to bring my iPad Pro because I knew I would use the Apple Vision Pro for all the things for which I used to use the iPad on a flight.
