The cooling trends of up to -2.15 ° C per decade are not consistent with the “global warming” narrative.
According to a new study (Li et al., 2025), 98% of the Central Eurasian study area (40-65 ° N and 50-130 ° E) experienced significantly decreasing temperatures between 2004 and 2020.
Specifically, the region cooled in almost -2.0 ° C, a rate of -1.425 ° C per decade, from 2004 to 2018.
The authors attribute the cooling trend to an increase of 5.38% per decade in the percentage of snow coverage (SCP) throughout the study area.
