Draft sequence draft two Stenotrophomonas sp. Isolated obtained from the venom of the sticoplastoris elusinus tarantula (Araneae: Theraphosidae)
ABSTRACT
Two genome sequences Stenotrophomonas sp. strains are reported. The isolated were obtained from the tarantula poison Sticoplastoris elusinus (Araneae: Theraphosidae) and are closely related to the recently described Stenotrophomonas Muris. The announcement highlights the presence of multiple antibiotic resistance genes and its relevance to veterinary and human health.
