Nathan Fielder, best known for his Comedy Central show, Nathan For You (and its cringe comedy), writes, directs and stars in this new HBO series. In the show, the comedian goes out of his way to let people rehearse moments before they happen. In the first episode, Fielder helps a man prepare for a confession with a friend and builds an exact replica of the bar they plan to meet at (the attention to detail is incredible). After planning whatever extravagant things might happen, we watch the real exchange between the two friends unfold. Strange and truly fascinating, The Rehearsal should get some time on your screen.
