World Pangolin Day celebrated with new genomes to help the most trafficked animal in the world

The Chinese Pangolin is one of the two species that researchers have now provided sequences of the genome almost without a gap and analyze them to obtain information to help in the conservation of these animals. The Chinese Pangolin and the Malay Pangolin, also studied here, are critically endangered in the UICN red list.
