Magnets are a great tool to present young children to the wonders of science. There are many lovely and economical thick magnets that can be used in many different creative ways.
Car magnet game
This simple automobile track is a fun way to present to young children to magnets. You can use my practice template or draw yours!

You will need
White cardboard
Pen or pencils
Stainless steel clips
Instructions
Print the template or draw a track and a small car on a card.
Place a clip on the car.
Use the magnet to move the car and clip around the track.


Fast magnet summary
The magnets have two extremes called poles, a north pole and a south pole. If you place two posts that are the same, you may feel that you separate from each other (they repel each other). Two different poles attract each other.
