We tried each phone in real world stages, focusing on its characteristics, design, performance, cameras, battery life and general value. We documented our findings in an initial review that is updated periodically when there are new software updates, or to compare it with new competitors such as Apple, Samsung, Google and OnePlus.

Photography is an important approach to most phones these days, so we take photos and videos of various topics in a variety of configuration and lighting scenarios. We tried any new camera modes, such as Log Video prores that debuted with the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, or the Magic editor tool that was launched with the Google Pixel 8 series.
Battery life
The battery tests are performed in several ways. We evaluate how much a phone lasts during a typical use day and observe how it works during the most focused video calls, media transmission and games. We also perform a video reproduction test, as a simple and replicable measure of the duration of the pure battery, which is not always included in the initial review, but sometimes it was added later in an update.
Performance measurement
We use comparative evaluation applications to measure the performance of each phone, along with our own anecdotal experiences using the phone for our review. The most notable is how graphics and animations look. Are they soft? Or are they delayed or stutter? We also observe how fast the phone changes between horizontal and vertical orientations, and how fast the application of the camera opens and is ready to take a photo.

We perform heavy tasks of processors such as editing photos, exporting videos and playing games. We evaluate whether a newer version of a particular telephone includes sufficient features so that it is worth updating of older models.
