Microsoft has begun to try a new update for its Windows co -driver vision application, allowing Users share a screen or certain applications with the AI assistant.
According The avant -garde Tom WarrenCopilot Vision can perform tasks such as training users through Adobe Photoshop characteristics or analyze web pages or photos that the user is seeing. Warren, who took a look at Copilot Vision AI at the Microsoft 50th Anniversary party, said the assistant guided him through Minecraft and helped him optimize the configuration of the Clipchamp video editor.
Copilot can also highlight parts of the screen to help users through different applications. However, this feature will not yet be enabled in the initial version.
The tests have also been carried out for a file search function for the co -pilot, which allows users to ask the AI assistant about the content of a file on the user’s PC. Currently, it is compatible with .docx, .xlsx, .PPTX, .txt, .pdf and .jon files. Conveniently, all are types of Microsoft -based files, although most likely they expand it to include more files.
This feature would be more convenient for professionals who need to search in a file in which they were working quickly or use it to identify a file that could have been incorrect. These new features will only require the Copilot application in Windows and will be available in the iOS and Android versions.
Currently, Microsoft is testing with Windows Insiders and has limited tests of co -driver vision only for US testers. The new function will be extended in the coming months with the last Windows 11 update.
