Khosla Ventures supported Fireglies.AI, an application of notes with AI, launched on Wednesday a set of “specific” domain “mini applications to extract information from complying with transcripts automatically.
With the generalized availability of automatic voice recognition models and generative AI, intelligence startups such as Otter, Read Ai, Circleback, Krisp and Granola have recorded impressive growth. Fireflies, similarly, has seen an 8x expansion in terms of users and has achieved profitability, according to co -founder and CEO Krish Ramineni.
To increase growth even more, the startup is launching more than 200 mini applications within its platform for different roles and use cases, including sales, marketing, recruitment, operations and administration, customer service and customer success.
There is Bant sales application, for example, that will extract details such as budget and deadlines for sales equipment. The agent’s performance feedback generator will generate information for the performance of a customer service agent and give training advice. In other places, the product launch planning application will prepare a product launch strategy.
If you have a transcription of a meeting, you can write a notice to gather some ideas using a tool such as circleback. But with its mini applications, Fireflies is looking to facilitate the process by eliminating the need to request.
“The amount of time to obtain information from a conversation after a meeting is a lot,” Ramineni told TechCrunch. “We want to close that gap with these applications. With these applications, fireflies can start these actions just after the meeting and make people more productive.”
Users can also choose to send these mini applications to other platforms through integrations with Salesforce, Hubspot, Asana, Jira, Bamboohr, Greenhouse, Slack and Microsoft Teams. For example, a host of a meeting can choose to share a summary of the meeting with a Slack manager once the meeting ends.
Fireflies says that users can implement these applications by meeting and also create their own applications for more personalized results. In the future, they can share these applications within a group of users, says the company.
Beyond the mini applications, Fireflies is working to improve the knowledge of the meetings through the introduction of a report of the meeting to inform users about participants and organizations. Ramineni says that the company has also been testing a way to include “digital twins” of users in meetings that can respond to basic consultations, similar to implementation applications such as Zoom has tried.
