TO Minibeart Hunt It is a great scientific activity for young children. It is a good excuse to make the whole family out of an adventure and provide many fun opportunities.
You do not need a huge area to explore, a small garden or an outdoor space can be filled with minibersets. A Minibeast search does not need any special equipment, although magnifying and insect containers can be useful.

Spring or summer is the perfect time for hunting Minibaset, since many errors are more active at this time of year, but you will find creepy traces throughout the year if you know where to look for.
What is a minibaset?
The minibases are small creatures without spine (invertebrates). They do not have a skeleton. Some are soft body like worms, others have shells and others have a hard exoskeleton like a beetle.
Minibasetes eat all kinds of things. Butterflies eat flower nectar, caterpillars eat plants and spiders eat other miniberset!
Miniberset Hunt – Higher Councils
In spring and summer, you probably just need to look around to see bees, butterflies and ants, but some creatures can be a bit more difficult to detect.
Look carefully under the stones to find millipedes, centipeds and firewood.
Look for flowers to find bees and butterflies.
After the rain it is a good time to look for slugs, worms and snails.

Find leaves in trees and shrubs to find aphids, caterpillars and ladybugs.
MINIBAST Free Search Verification List
Use one of my free minibaut verification lists, or do yours!

Try not to bother the creatures you find, and if you pick them up for a closer glance, you always place them where you found them.

Create a 3D model of an error. The artisanal train has a brilliant Dragonfly 3D.
Build an insect house to attract insects to an outdoor space.

Taming Little Monsters has a fantastic Insect movement dice.
Finally, don’t forget to look at my other Outdoor Science Activities!
Make your own Minibeast book so that others can see their observations and findings.
