A small but significant number of people feels that most phones are too large, and would prefer smaller versions without sacrificing specifications. Eric Migicovsky, the founder of Pebble, is one of them. The small Android telephone project began in 2022, with the aim of developing a compact Android device and premium reminiscent of the iPhone 13 Mini. While the project is still alive, the last indicators are that it could spend some time before seeing its vision of a small Android phone.

For those who expect such a device, it seems that they should not contain breathing. Migicovsky himself has expressed his hope that another company can take the mantle, indicating that The edge“I really hope someone else does one, so I don’t have to do it.”
Meanwhile, Migicovsky is dedicating his efforts to recovering Pebble’s smart watch, focusing on the simplicity and duration of the long battery, with plans to incorporate open source software for user customization.
