A kind of alien spider, Latrodectus hesperus Chamberlin and Ivie, 1935, is reported from Slovakia for the first time. The spider was accidentally transported to the north of Slovakia with goods, and was found in Sinantropic habitat. This record confirms the route through which the spiders of the genre Little They import to Europe. Characteristics are presented, together with photographs of the habitus and the copulatory organs.
