You’ll have to wait a little longer than expected to explore Lands Between on Nintendo Switch 2. FromSoftware and publisher Bandai Namco have delayed Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition – the Switch 2 version of the hit action RPG – until 2026. The port was announced in April and was originally scheduled to arrive sometime this year.
“While development of #ELDENRING Tarnished Edition continues unconditionally towards launch, we have decided to move the launch to 2026 to allow time for performance adjustments.” a publication in the Elden Ring X account it reads. “We apologize to the players who are looking forward to the game and thank them for their patience and support.”
Players first tried out the port during public demos at Gamescom in August, but performance issues were evident.
