April 4, 2025 (MLN):In an attempt to improve transparency, the Government is actively working to promote digitalization, as stated by Ahsan Iqbal, the Minister of Planning and Development.
Going to a press conference in Islamabad, together with the Minister of National Food Security, Rana Tanveer Hussain and the Minister of Information Technology, Shaza Fatima, Iqbal emphasized that for the first time under Ramadan’s help package, deserving people were integrated into the digital economy.
He pointed out that, as part of the initiative, each eligible family had RS5,000.
Rana Tanveer Hussain stressed that this year’s Ramadan’s help pack was distinctive to transfer directly effective to deserving families, according to the press release.
Meanwhile, Shaza Fatima stressed the government approach to digitize all citizen services to improve public convenience, while improving income collection and reinforce the economy.
