Instagram now allows you to share your spotify song in real time through notes, automatically showing your friends what you are transmitting about your direct messages.

The feature represents Instagram’s last attempt to make social exchange feel less intimidating. When users play the musical note icon while listening to Spotify, their current song appears instantly in the notes. If nothing is reproduced, the next track in 30 minutes will be automatically shared.

“I want Instagram to be a place where you can overcome doubts, and just do it, share it, do it anyway,” said Adam Mosseri, Instagram’s head, in a blog post announcing updates.

Spotify integration is based on the existing Instagram association with the transmission service, which began last November with a “add Spotify” button. Unlike the previous music characteristics that required manual song selection, this update continuously reflects what users are listening in real time.

Instagram also confirmed that the personalization of the profile network will be launched next week. The characteristic requested a long time ago allows users to manually reorganize publications, regardless of when they were originally published.

Meta Christine Pai spokeswoman confirmed the reorganization timeline of the grid, according to The edge. Mosseri had previously caused the capacity in January, calling it one of the most frequently requested characteristics of Instagram.

Both updates are part of the “Instagram” “Anyway” campaign, designed to reduce the publication pressure by giving users more control over how their content appears.

The platform is also testing a silent publication, allowing users to add content to their profiles without transmitting it to the followers’ feeds. This feature remains in limited tests, but could implement widely soon.

Test reels, which allow creators to try content with non -followers before sharing with friends, expanded to all users today. Instagram states that 40% of the creators who tested the function began to publish more frequently. Of these, 80% saw a greater scope among the non -followers.

These changes reflect Instagram recognition that anxiety in social networks affects user behavior. Creative expression can feel intimidating, especially when publishing in the main foods where friends, family and colleagues could judge the content.

Spotify’s function first launched in India, with a global expansion that is expected soon. Users must link their Spotify accounts through Instagram configuration or taking advantage of Spotify clues in stories or reels.

Instagram’s impulse towards publication without pressure occurs when the platform competes with the domain of Tiktok in music based content. By making music share more without seams and reducing anxiety publication, Instagram hopes to encourage the most frequent and authentic exchange between its user base.

The company also announced its Draft initiativeproviding financial support and collaboration opportunities for emerging creators such as Tyrell Hampton.
