Digital Science today announced new improvements to Simplectic elementswhich will now offer the ability to embed summaries generated by AI for publication summaries within the public profile of a researcher.
Symplectic Elements, a leading research management system (RIMS), allows the creation of comprehensive public profiles. These profiles are housed in elegant, modern and intuitive online portals that offer advanced search and discovery capabilities while guaranteeing alignment with the organizational brand. Profiles can be available not only for researchers and teachers, but also for teams, services and other institutional resources.
Simpllectic elements currently support profile portals for more than 70 organizations, including academic institutions (such as University College London, University of Oxford and Virginia Tech), Consortia (Ohio Innovation Exchange) and government organizations (Australian nuclear science and nuclear technology organization).
With the introduction of AI Vanguardia functionality, abstract summaries can now be shown within the public profile of a researcher. These AI summaries can be generated on request by a visitor to provide a concise synopsis of the research results.
