YouTube presents an interactive food supply for bought TV ads

YouTube launched advertisers on Wednesday, accompanied by a striking performance by Lady Gaga and special appearances of the popular youtubers such as Brittany Broski and Mrbeast.

During their presentation in advance, YouTube executives introduced new ad formats that arrived at the platform, including an improved TV offer with a buyable connection (CTV) that includes a new diet of interactive products.

The measure is strategic for YouTube, since it recognizes that spectators often see videos on the big screen while using their phones to move through social networks or buy online.

The new buyable format allows advertisers to show products on the right side of the TV screen during the ads. Interactive food acts as a brand store where spectators can easily navigate by multiple products using their remote controls. When a spectator selects an element, they are asked to scan a QR code with its smartphone to obtain a direct link for purchase.

In addition, there is a button so that viewers can press and maintain, which allows them to send the link to their phones to buy all products at the same time.

YouTube has become a dominant force in television visualization.
