AIB’s Southeast Chapter Conference explores various markets and innovations

The International Business Academy Chapter of the southeastern USA (AIB US-SE) He kept his Annual Conference from October 24 to 26, 2024, in the CHAFETZ School of Business on the campus of the University of Saint Louis. Conference attendees received a main presentation from the president of AIB, Dr. Gary Knightan executive presentation of opening with the president and CEO of Maritz, David Peckinpaoughand numerous other panels and research presentations focused on the topic of the conference – Unlimited global businesses: navigating various markets and innovations.

Dr. Wendy Ritz2024 President of the AIB US-SE conference, spoke about the collaboration process with the University of Saint Louis in this event:

“The academic conference of last weekend on the impressive campus of the University of Saint Louis was a testimony of the power of collaboration and the importance of being physically present to connect and establish contacts. Attendees continue to publish online about the beauty of the campus and a sense of security while exploring the treasures of the city, from the majestic arch to the serene forest park and the impressive Saint Louis zoo. Together, we not only share knowledge but we also create lasting memories in a truly vibrant environment. “

More than 50 X-Culture students also attended. X-Culture It is an international educational program that helps students and professionals learn about businesses and other cultures through real world experience. This year’s X-Culture students represented international teams that competed to solve a case created in collaboration by the Faculty of Maritz and X-Culture.

Reflecting on the event, Dr. Hadi AlhorDirector of the International Business Boeing Institute, highlighted several areas of synergy between the AIB US-Southeast chapter and its host of the 2024 conference:

“As the oldest university west of the Mississippi, the University of Saint Louis has played a crucial role in the economic prosperity of the region. One of the strategic objectives of the University is to ensure that our academic and professional programs have a global perspective. More specifically, the International Business Boeing Institute, since its inception in 1984, has focused on academic and corporate dissemination programs focused on international commercial issues.
